jack’s profile
Jack is a mix of red and yellow, bringing energy, curiosity, creativity and drive to everything he does. He’s obsessed with understanding how people think – from consumer behaviour to sales psychology – and has a knack for creating genuine connections with clients and candidates (check out his LinkedIn to see what people have to say). After spending the first decade of his career specialising in quality assurance recruitment, Jack’s biggest accolade is being respected as a thought-leader in this space. He’s done this by providing meaningful, data-driven content, hosted exclusive round tables and in-person events.
Jack now focuses on Engineering & Product Leadership and is on a mission for WeDo to become the most recommended agency in the UK. To do this, he runs the Technology Leadership Forum, a senior leadership network which delivers value to the Tech Leadership community. For Jack, it’s all about making every interaction count, creating value, and bringing people together to learn and grow.

Without doubt 16 years ago, when sporting a mullet whilst being introduced into the world of recruitment, more Red character tendencies were displayed….Intense, Impatient, Goal-oriented all come to mind. Fast forward 16 years, the mullet has been chopped, hairline now receding with a grey tinge. In return, a healthy balance between Red and Blue – Still convincing, opinionated, and goal oriented but also far more reflective, systematic and analytical. Listen below to what our Co-Founder has to say…

Fell into recruitment? How many times have you read that…well Omar slipped headfirst into the world of tech 8 years ago through a friend's referral. Fast forward to now, where he’s heading up the Analytics team at Wedo. What to expect from him? “A client-centric talent partner, with the perfect balance of a consultative yet personable approach”. Building mutually beneficial, long-term relationships lasting the test of time is his specialty (and he’d like to think Football, Golf and Running add to the list…when he’s not at baby ballet).
The TLF (Technology Leadership Forum) is an invite-only, community led initiative with the aim to bring together thought leaders who have a strategic influence on quality across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Think Agile mindset. Think DevOps. Think Data. Think Growth Mindset.
Founded by Paul Gerrard in 2004 under the name "TMF", the event was created with the goal of meeting more Senior Practitioners in the Test Management profession to share experiences between community members. Fast-track to 2019, the community was reformed to the "TLF" with the aim of bringing together strategic influencers across the SDLC together. In 2023, the TLF is under new management from wedo.tech with the purpose of creating a community-led, topic-rich meetup for thought leaders across the SDLC.
